Welcome to the Millin Four-em. Thanks for hitting my post!...that's hockey/blog humor.
This is a site designed to post and record the success and failures of my backyard hockey rink. Right now, thanks to mother nature, it's one big failure.
I must credit two people as inspiration for this blog:
Ben Maxwell, Father-in-Law and general irritant :). Ben came up with the name, The Millin Four-em. I was trying to think of a name for my backyard rink and he nailed it. It is a blend of our local rink, the Chelmsford Forum, and the fact that there are four people in our family. It also serves as a great title for this site as it is a good forum for sharing information. Thanks Dad!
Kevin Carlson, fellow backyard rink rat and blogger. I have never met Kevin but he has a wonderful blog and rink. He lives in a town called Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada (great name!) and has a fantastic blog dedicated to his rink. He is a nice guy who loves hockey, family and building rinks as much as I do. Wow! Scooter, this is fantastic! The coolest thing we've had in our backyard recently is a cow patty. Well, I guess it wasn't really a 'cool' thing as it was fairly steaming. :)

HELLO????????? Do I not get any credit? First of all I have had to be related to you for all these years and second of all I see a very very very nice and thoughtful Boston Bruins Lighted Lawn figure in your photos of the GREEN rink.
One more thing.....who gave you the 5 day weather forecaster??? I embrace the whole concept of this rink.
