A Win-Win Situation

The Cardinals won the championship series last night, taking both games from the Braves. They put on quite a show and should be proud of their season. Danny loves being a Cardinal and we are lucky that Danny is on the team for 2 more years.

But the part of the evening that Deb and I enjoyed the most was what happened after the game and after both teams received their trophies: Danny and Thomas chased each other around the outfield, laughing, and acting like 10 year old boys should. They even switched hats and appeared to have forgotten who won or who lost the game. Danny enjoyed his moment of victory and Thomas was sad about losing, but neither one cared too much to let it interfere with what's most important - friendship.

Adults can learn a lot from children.

Lip gloss - enough on that topic.

Has anyone ever noticed how much this adorable young man looks like his Pa Ben?

Lip gloss? You're killing me...and leave the boy alone. He's so young and comments like that could really have an impact on his psyche.

This has been my wallpaper this week. The best part is the Maxwell wiffleball classic shirt he's wearing.
