A storm blew through here on Tuesday night and left my frame filled with 8 inches of snow and slush. I shoveled most of it as the snow changed over to sleet, and took care of the rest early Thursday morning, letting the mid-day sun melt the remnants.
There were some off season changes and improvements to the surrounding venue of the Millin Four-em. Note the fresh coat of stain on the fence and wall.
At the 'low board end' I cut a hockey net-sized opening so that when the kids play a game, the net can sit on the ice and not take up space on the main playing surface. I declared war on an overgrown Iris plant to fit it in, and I am pleased with how it looks. I hope it works - that's the end that sees a lot of sun and has given me the most maintenance problems.
Now I just gotta get me a liner.
