A parent donated new goalie pads to Danny's team. The old ones were in very bad shape. So, we inherited the old ones, much to Danny's delight, and brought them home.
Kids got home from school today, finished their homework, and we laced 'em up for a while. Caroline is making tremendous progress in her skating. She is progressing nicely with her backwards skating, and is attempting to stop in her hockey skates. She is a veteran of figure skates so it is an adjustment for her.

Danny was flopping around like Reggie Lemelin out there. Caroline and I took him to school and showed no mercy. She has a nice one timer, and put the puck in the 5-hole several times. Even Danny had to admit they were nice shots!
Ice Condition: Resurfaced last night. Smoothest it's ever been.
Temps: High today of 35. Low tonight: 20's.
