Caroline looked very nerveous when she first took the court. Such an intense girl - she gets it from her mother. She was fidgity and more pale than normal - again, she gets it from her mother. She did very well. Her serves were great, and she goes after the ball without flinching. You could see the team relax the more they played. They had some really good volleys, and were almost always in it until the very end of the game. Her team did not record a win but they played very well considering this was their first time (the other teams had obviously played a lot). By the end of their 8th game they looked exhausted. Deb and I are very proud of her. Caroline fell asleep in the car on the long ride home.

Another Tournament!
And it was a ball....volleyball! Caroline has been having practices with her team for several weeks now, and today the Merrimack Valley Juniors, Team-U12 Black, played their first games of the season. After a quick stop at Starbucks, we were on the road at 6:30 this morning to be in Alton, NH, and did not return until 3:00!
