For a boy that hasn't really been sick this winter, it was a really bad day for it to happen. We were at Papa Gino's for Danny's birthday dinner last night, and he began to look a little pale and rundown. We took it "to go", and it was a good thing we did. He was sick through the night.
Poor guy. He is staying home from school today and will need to make up his last day of MCAS testing. But what's worse is his roller skating party scheduled for tonight will have to be made up as well. There are also 30 cupcakes that were supposed to be had in class today since they couldn't celebrate it yesterday w/ the testing going on. Those are being donated to a shelter for women and children in Lowell.
Picture: Danny's sunflower that he grew from seed. Note construction for rink in background.
