Auntie Tim

It's been crazy here at the Millin household. Amongst all the craziness is a new addition to the household. My younger sister, Kim, is living with us for a while. She spent 10 years living in San Francisco and then spent the last 2 1/2 years traveling around parts of Europe and Asia.

Kim is a great house guest. The kids love having her here and so do Deb and I. I call her 'The Genie' because when I make a wish ("Boy do I wish the laundry was washed and folded") it comes true! But that's not why we like having her around. Kim was always fun as a kid and that's still true today: She makes Deb watch scary movies, analyzes the healthiness of everything we eat, gets us to try new foods, stumbles over easy words, and laughs at things that really aren't that funny. I referred to her as 'Auntie Tim' in the title because that's how Danny pronounced her name when he was little.

This Easter the five of us went to Rhode Island, along with Mom and Dad, and met up with my sister Nanci and her boyfriend - also a Scott (yes, it's creepy how much she admires me). We met at the Cheesecake Factory at Providence Place and had a great afternoon.
