The Chelmsford Squirt 4's had a tournament in Springfield, MA this weekend. The experience exceeded my expectations going into it. The kids played hallway hockey, swam in the pool, played in the arcade, roamed the hotel in packs, and stayed up late. The grown ups relaxed and got to know each other a little better...and stayed up late. Each family did their own thing but had enjoyed each other's company.
The 4's lost their first 3 games and wound up in the 'consolation bracket'. They were down 2-0 going into the 3rd period when Anabelle score her first goal of the season. It seemed to change the momentum and the 4's scored 2 more, including Danny's breakaway goal with 5 minutes left in the game to win it. The rink was electric, the coaches were proud, and the kids were happy.

Hey Dad,
Good coverage of the event. Ever think of doing some writing?
