Wild winds and warm temperatures have doomed the Four-em's '07/'08 season. I was hoping for a slow, gradual melt combined with cold night time temps to
squeak out a morning skate or two. But, that won't happen. The sun is too strong and the leaves are absolutely everywhere. It's a big mess.
So, I poked a couple of holes in the liner, inserted a couple of hoses into them and let it drain.
Such a dreary and depressing business. What was once such a proud landmark is now an eyesore in need of demolition. I will have the kids grab some pieces of ice to put into the freezer for storage until I begin filling it next year.
