Danny had his buddy Mitch (aka "Tank") over today and they skated on the rink for a couple of hours. Tank and Danny have successfully parlayed this skate into a sleepover.The temps hovered right at 32 degrees for most of the morning, but the sun began to really heat up spots on the rink, particularly around the edges. However, clouds moved in and since the kids are relatively light little water seeped up and over the sides of the ice. They came in because of being hungry and tired rather than because of the deteriorating conditions of the rink.
Danny is sporting his new NHL All Star jersey that he got for Christmas.
