Putting Plans on Ice

Friday, January 2nd
Caroline and Delaney made good use of the ice on Friday while Danny's team was skating on one of my player's backyard rink. Delaney has crossed over to the hockey skate side and made her mark on the ice with them.

Saturday, January 3rd
Danny and 3 of his friends skated for a loong time, playing 2 on 2. They only stopped for water and snacks and came in when they were tired and cold.

Monday, January 4th
Nothing works off frustration like shooting the puck. After getting home late from a game in Tewksbury I laced them up, worked up a sweat, and shot some pucks...in the net and against the boards.

Warmer temps are moving in, with possible snow this week. But then colder temps are expected later in the week. The ice is in decent shape.

How did Jim and JO like the noise of pucks hitting the boards late at night?

I have asked Jim if he hears it and he says, 'no'. I never thought to ask Jo however. Luckily, I am an expert marksman and rarely boom one off the boards.

Ben,
When you have your own private hockey rink.... there should be perfection in every shot!
