"Takin' 'Em Down, Board By Board" Part 2

I cleaned out the shed to make room for most of the lumber, kick plates, boards, lights, clamps, wires, screws, pvc, and duct taped items. What has been dismantled so far is stacked neatly and orderly in a dishevled, unorganized shed. Stainless steel screws have been put in baggies, and the rest of the liner has been rolled and tossed. If you look carefully in the lower right hand corner of the picture you will see brown grass. Now look where the liner was and you see green grass. A liner actually helps your lawn rather than kill it as some people thought might happen.

I have taken down 2/3 of the 2x10 frame that comes off the endboards and it went pretty smoothly. I have marked in spray paint where each part bolted into the next so putting it up in the fall shouldn't be too bad. The aluminum posts I pounded in behind the wood frame to help support the pressure of the water and ice came out very easily. Hard to believe I drove them in with a sledgehammer last December, but the ground was near frozen then. Now it's slurpy and squishy.

So far so good.
