"Oak Tree!" Sing it Morris!
With all the snow I figured my leaf issues were over as those that have fallen are buried beneath a foot plus of snow. But women are unpredictable, and Mother Nature is no exception. Those pesky oak leaves hang on for as long as they can. Then the winds blow them off after the snow falls...and the ice cased snow on the ground gives the leaves a nice smooth surface to blow across the field and into my yard.
Anyone have any ideas how I get all these out of my ice without walking on the surface? They attract sun and 'burn' holes, and dull sharpened skates in no time...assuming we get that far.

Have the person that weighs the least go pick them out of the ice.
