Solstice

Today is the shortest day of the year, Winter Solstice.  With just over 9 hours of sunlight, the days will slowly become longer and the extra sunlight will only cause a rinkbuilder like myself more trouble.  However, I take it a day at a time and know that an average of an extra minute of sunlight for each week going forward still leaves us plenty of time for more skating.

Danny had the Usual Suspects over after school. Every year I take a photo of Danny, Thomas, Mitch, and Chris in on the rink.  Here they are, as 6th graders.
